This proposal now has media coverage and support of several Municipal Counselors.
It is these elected representatives that will decide the future of Biodiversity in Chatham-Kent.
Six years ago the Council of the time decided, not to decide!
It wasn't acceptable then and it is even less acceptable now!
Call your counselor, email them write them a letter, bang on their door and demand that they act to protect what biodiversity is left!
Don't let them try to shift the focus away from biodiversity protection to pretty flower planting or stick farms.
A few of them can't see the forest for the trees, but you can!
If they don't support biodiversity protection then demand why.
We live in a democracy!
Your vote and the influence you have among family and friends matters!
Democracy doesn't begin and end at the ballot box. It begins right now!
