If you have found this petition you most likely have watched my short documentary on this pond i'm trying to get cleaned. The situation on this is, this pond in Carver MN, is filled with trash, pitch black water, & lot's of other things that really do not belong in a pond. This pond is surrounded by a neighborhood development & get lots of foot traffic, with many people stopping to look & enjoy this piece of nature, but I want this to be 100% enjoyable & clean. Species that have been reported in this pond: Painted Turtle, American Toad, Northern Leopard Frog, Gray Treefrog, Canadian Toad, Blanding's Turtle, Smooth Soft Shell Turtle esc. Keep in mind the said species have been recorded over the last 3 years of research & record keeping. If you watched my short, you might remember that I told you that "the amount of animals has gone down, & the amount of trash & algae has gone up" This does still apply. If I get the desired amount of votes, I will submit this to the mayor of Carver, Courtney Johnson. Thank you very much for reading, & please vote to help the cause for this pond.

What Should Happen: I have thought of a couple solutions to this problem, Including the idea of putting trash cans along the trail, along with the idea of introducing a new program reminiscent of the program "Adopt a Highway" If you agree with any of these ideas please submit a vote.
