We are Chartwell Employees working on the campus of the University of Florida. We the employees are seeking a change in how we are unfairly treated and we would like to start a union. We are in the food service industry and there is approximately 1100 workers on campus that cater to the students as far as feedings. Many of us workers are underpaid and overworked. Many have no benefits as we also have no sick time or holiday pay. We are face with consistent layoffs. We work in unsatisfactory, unsanitary environments as we serve students overpriced and uncooked food. We have poor management and many of us face discrimination and bullying. Because of a recent news article on May 28, 2024 retaliation from Chartwell is now upon us. Many employees are fearful of losing their jobs because they were told not to take part in a UNION protest. We need everyone to help us fight this cause to bring a UNION together.

Just know that having a UNION Protects you and your job. Having a UNION is a benefit because they work for you. They are the voice for the voiceless, They will fight for your rights. A UNION will fight for your wages. A UNION will fight for your benefits a UNION will fight against discrimination. A UNION will fight for your job position.
