Hey, It’s Cocoa’s Momma! Sending out an update. I’m currently working on adding more to Cocoa’s Law of Love and researching to further ensure the future protection of all animals so keep checking back for when Cocoa’s Law of Love is updated! Don’t worry, nothing will be removed, I’m only adding. We need to protect the innocent and those who cannot speak for themselves. Cocoa wasn’t the first time but needs to be the last and I pulled some comments supporters left to show how much things like this have happened and they brought me to tears when I read them. They will be included below, give them a read, it’s the reality of what we are dealing with and trying to stop. I’ve been handing out flyers for Cocoa’s Law of Love and I’m asking and encouraging you to print them out and do the same. The flyer will also be included below.

“I hope this law comes into effect soon because I had something like this happen to my cat. My cat was clearly dying (wasn't eating or drinking, sleeping all day and hiding in dark places like closets, her side eyelids were closing) and I went to the petER in Lancaster Ca and paid the $100 fee to get seen, and then they said she needs around the clock in hospital care for a couple days to survive and a feeding tube. So we paid over $3,000 for all of this and she ended up dying three days later. I took her body to my normal vet (the reason I didn't go there to begin with is because we took her in the middle of the night and the petER was the only place open) when I took her to my normal vet, he did an autopsy for me and found out that she had Cat Liver Disease. Just buy me telling him the symptoms he had a feeling that's what it was and he said any good that would know exactly that that's what it was and know that there was no way she would've survived it so the fact that the doctor gave me hope just to take some of my money knowing she was gonna die anyways really hurt me. I just don't get it. How can you be a vet and care for animals and steal from people?"
