CDC recognizes type 1 diabetes as high risk. MA does not.

Hi all,

The CDC has added type 1 diabetes to the high risk category.  Unfortunately, Massachusetts has not. 

Please call Governor Baker's office at (617) 725-4005.  Tell him:

• The CDC has updated their guidance for type 1 diabetes and has stated, "Having either type 1 or type 2 diabetes can make you more likely to get severely ill from COVID-19."
• The Massachusetts city/ town you live in and your relationship to type 1 diabetes
• Ask him to urgently update the state's guidance.
