My sister had her Instagram account hacked over a week ago and these hackers changed her account privacy settings so that anybody can go on her profile and see the pictures of her daughter and every other picture on there.

These hackers then proceeded to use pictures of this young child to promote their crypto currency scam!

My sister has done everything that Instagram‘s automated account recovery process has asked her to do and they just keep rejecting her.

Myself, other family members and friends have all reported each post and the account and nothing is still being done, We have reached out to different people associated with Instagram and the meta group via the platforms and email addresses and nobody will listen, we now feel this is a safeguarding situation due to the fact they changed the privacy settings allowing anybody to see these pictures of children and are using the pictures in their scams 

we don’t know if they have taken these pictures and used them elsewhere which is terrifying 

When will Instagram and the meta group start working with and looking after their users instead of letting the hackers get away with this ? 

This petition is for everybody that has been hacked and then just been ignored.
