Hello, I want to have the statute of limitations changed for any victims of continuous physical assault, serious physical assault (like getting hit in the head with weapons), attempted murder, rape, and molestation. I believe it shouldn't matter what state you were in. For crimes like these you should be able to have a California lawyer take the case. I want it to be changed to where serious crimes like these can be taken to court despite how long it's been as long as both parties are alive and there's solid proof.  I see all these things for rape & molestation victims of the church, juvie, and jails, but not the rest of the victims out there who were to scared and scarred at first to build up the courage to do something about. I believe this should be changed so people can get compensation for traumas caused by these crimes. I was beaten by someone for 1.5 years with several liquor glass bottles and a couple wooden candle holders. They knew I had epilepsy and did it anyways. I have several scars and a dent in my head from this. I even had to super glue my ear back together and rip out half of a tooth which I had to later get the rest of it to be surgically removed. The man stole my  four credit cards. The night he tried killing me I confronted him of raping me during the post ictal state of a seizure and later that night just after midnight on 1/1/2014 was when he tried to kill me with one of the wooden candle holders. I lived with them for a year and a half and had to put up with all of this. I believe in cases like this statute of limitations should be changed as well as you should be allowed to have a lawyer from the state you are in help you. I have had no help from Indiana lawyers or California lawyers. Will you help me to get this changed?
