Call to Action:
We really appreciate your continued engagement and support over changing the code to allow shared use at Ragged Mountain.
The County Board of Supervisors meeting is this Wednesday, April 3rd and it has been everyone’s voices that have helped make sure this topic got on the agenda.
The CAMBC board has been working diligently to provide the Board of Supervisors needed information, and we will be representing our position on Wednesday along with many other members who have signed up to speak. Although there are limited speaking slots, you still have a critical role in this matter!
1) Make an eComment before 1:00 pm on April 3rd. Using the link below, scroll to Page 2, Item #19 on the agenda and click the “Comment” link to the right. This makes sure your statements are placed under the correct topic. These comments are read by the Board. Your voice matters. Once the meetings start that day the eComment window closes.
2) Show up at the 6 pm meeting. Your presence makes a big impact. The public comment period starts at 6pm, and the board will discuss the matter at the very end of the evening. Please be respectful. Proper etiquette is to raise your hand to represent your support.
3) Email to your County Supervisor. This is especially important if you live in Ned Galloway’s Rio District. Use the talking points in the updates below, and add your own story or experience why the loop at Ragged is so important to you.
Thanks for your continued support of letting our Albemarle County Supervisors know that the only answer is to "Change the Code" to allow shared use at Ragged Mountain.
