Students were given no warning, and no preparation for a harsh restriction on our visitation rights. Students are no longer allowed to have any visitors at all and you cannot enter a hall unless you live in that building until the end of the semester. Many students rely on these visitation rights to see their friends, study, cook dinners, and host gatherings so by taking these rights away students mental and social wellbeing is at risk. Better alternitives are possible, and with no warnings at all students cant help but feel like the ban is completely unjust.
