The Isle of Man should soon have new legislation that creates 2 new criminal offences. For the first time, Domestic Abuse will be against the law. There will also be a Coercive Control Offence. The presence of children during a DA incident will be treated as an aggravating factor, resulting in heavier sentences. Other aggravating factors will include non-fatal strangulation. Thank you to everyone who has signed this petition and helped campaign for this Law, we are on the way to achieving the goal!
