Let's be fair, The Dutch anthem sucks. It isn't about the Netherlands but about Willem the first. He might be the father of our fatherland but the anthem litteraly sing that he honors the king of Hispania and that he's from German blood. This isn't good. Where is the love for our fatherland? For the Netherlands? 

We should make a new one. Where it is clear that we love the Netherlands. But we shouldn't make an old, boring one. Times are changing and so are people's preferences. We as a country should change with these times, instead of standing still while the world changes around us. And what will work better than a rap battle between the two main faces of the Dutch Politic?

A rap battle is everything this country needs. People will love it and it would give the country a hip side, which would be great for tourists from 16-25 years old. Also think about this: It will be ALL over the news! And so many tourists would come!

If this petition gets over 40.000 signs I will write the rap song myself, unless if someone else wants to write it.
