

The airlines are giving people conflicted information and their final position is attached below… they are stating that service dogs must be certified…. Which is only possible if you are an ADI non profit program dog or are in one of three provinces where there is certification… which they only accept if you have a letter from a certified service dog trainer (and that costs thousands of dollars)
This is a problem because not all provinces have the option for certification and even if they pass the certification in BC, Alberta or Nova Scotia, if you haven’t paid thousands of dollars for a certified service dog trainer or received your dog from an ADI certified organization you cannot fly, because they want a letter from a certified service dog trainer.
