As a citizen, I faced difficulties in logistics from Berlin airport due to the limited number of German cities available for direct flights from the UAE. This puts me and other travelers in a difficult position, and forces us to look for alternative routes, which takes up additional time and resources. It also worsens the ties between our countries in the field of tourism and business. According to Eurostat, more than 400 thousand people from the UAE visited Germany in 2019. A change in the air agreement between Germany and the UAE, which would allow more German cities to become destinations for flights from the UAE, could significantly simplify travel and improve interconnections.
