When you think of the holy lands of Tejas, you're first hit with the field of blue bonnets, a nice bowl of Bluebell, and the scent of a brisket on the grill with Deep in the Heart of Texas playing in your ear. This image is perfect except for the fact that our anthem isn't Deep in the Heart of Texas, it's Texas, our Texas. This is serious. Who in their right mind would imagine this tragedy, Greg Abbott needs to make this change immediately. I call for marches on Austin, angry letters sent to Greg's wheel chair friendly governor's office, and if none of that creates change in our almost perfect nation I propose we immediate stop the persecuting of Mexicans, Blacks, and Trans people. I know that's a crazy thought but this calls for drastic measures. I won't sleep until our great states anthem is as proud as we are bigoted down south. I implore you to share the effort with your friends and anyone you hold dear, these are hard times but the only way to over come tyranny and oppression is together with our voices united. Long live Bluebell! Long live Texas!✊🏻
