Hello!

Last week I attended an AICPA Small Firm Networking Group meeting in Arizona. The AICPA usually sends one or two of their staff to attend these meetings to discuss tax and small firm issues. The tax section presentation showed survey results on a variety of issues, including the tax due date. I've included a couple of pictures of the survey results regarding the due date. Among survey respondents, a majority were in favor of a shift in the due date.  AICPA told us that they are putting together a 'task force' to do a deeper dive on the issue. When I asked who was on the task force, I did not get an answer. I am frustrated with AICPA, but hope they follow through. I think that the only way to fight for this change is through our politicians.
