Here is another chance to have your voice heard. Treasury and IRS invite the public to submit recommendations for items to be included in the 2022-2023 Priority Guidance Plan. Please be civil and professional because comments are public record. I have already submitted comments based on petition text and articles. If you'd like to comment, here are instructions on how to do that:

Go to regulations.gov and in the search box, type "IRS 2022-0007". The search results will bring up Notice 2022-21. Click on that Notice. On the next screen, you will see a blue "Comment" button. Click there and take the opportunity to tell Treasury and the IRS what improvements should be considered for the upcoming year. You can also download Notice 2022-21 on that page, but they encourage the electronic submission of comments via that blue button. Keep it professional (even though we'd all like to blast the IRS) because it is public record. Comments must be received by June 3 for inclusion in the Treasury/IRS Priority Guidance Plan for the period July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023.
