This is a petition to attempt to convince those in charge of King David Linksfield to change the uniform policy. It is based in traditional policies and is in need of a modern update. The change will make the school rules gender neutral, thereby allowing girls the ability to wear pants, rather than skirts, and boys to wear piercings if they please. Girls should not be forced to wear a single layer of clothing on their legs when the temperature can drop to single digits. This change will also allow boys to grow their hair to any length they choose, as long as it is neat. If the students keep their appearance neat and respectable then the hair length, the uniform and the piercings should not matter.
