Polyamorous marriage has been frowned upon for most of American history.  It is time for this to change because there are many people who want to marry the people they love.  I have had more than two parents since my birth, and more than one love in my heart since I learned to love, and it has always brought joy into my life.  The two arguments I've always heard against poly marriage has been the impact on the women involved, and how children of poly marriages would be raised.  I can say from my experience, and those of my brother and mom, that polyamorous marriage is good for the adults and children resulting from the marriage.

An additional argument against poly marriage is based on the idea that adult women are incapable of making decisions for themselves and need to be "saved" from such relationships.  This sort of thinking is offensive to adult women and denies female agency.

My parents could not all be legally married, and I know that when I am old enough to marry I will face the same with those I love.  It's not just for a piece of paper or for a title.  Medical emergencies, insurance coverage, inheritance and child custody are just some of the many situations that are trivial for monogamous couples but can be a nightmare for poly folk. 

America has made so much progress in recognizing the rights of individuals to express themselves and the feelings in their hearts, it is time to fight for polyamorous marriage!  Marriage for all!
