Change.Org is a multi-million dollar for-profit private company. It is also a petition website. 

After a user signs a petition on Change.org, they are prompted to "become a hero" &  "chip in" a sum of money in order to advertise the cause across Change.org's network & help reach the signature goal by showing the petition "extra times".

The donation page is designed to make people think that they're advancing a cause they care about when in reality this money goes straight into the hands of Change.org who is using those "donations" to buy up their own ad space and increase their own revenue. There is no mention anywhere on the "donation" page in regards to where the "donated" money goes, how it is used, or how much is driven by a particular cause or petition. 

The Justice for George Floyd petition recently surpassed 14 million signatures (which is awesome) but with a suggested donation of $20 think of how much money Change.org is pocketing. Think of how much they are profiting off of this horrific tragedy. Off of the murder of an innocent man. And think of how far that money could go if it were in the right hands. 

This petition is to pressure Change.org to disclose all profits driven by the Justice for George Floyd petition and to donate it towards the following organizations.

Please do not chip in when change.org asks you to after signing this. Instead, consider donating to the following non-profits or comment any other organizations you'd like to see this money go towards.
