End of Week One

At the end of one week we are close to 2,000 signatures (2% of our 100,000 signature goal.) Several people asked us how long this campaign is expected to take. Suffolk,​ ​Buffalo​ ​and​ ​Rochester​ ​all got rid of​ ​their​ ​Traffic Violations Bureau​ ​in 2013, 2015, and 2017 respectively. Accordingly, 2019 seems like an appropriate target date for this campaign. We would like to thank NYC Council Member Ritchie Torres, of the 15th District for having his office contact us about this cause. We urge everyone to contact their City and State representatives because they will be the ones ultimately deciding this issue.
