Senator David Pocock has been championing integrity in politics for years now. But one week into a new parliament, and Labor would rather side with the diminutive Liberal / National Party coalition, then show leadership and I dare say integrity. The Albanese government would rather block a bill to discuss integrity, then actually practice it. Note they can always ask Pocock to amend the bill to win favour.
Might I remind you that while in opposition, Anthony was demanding a National Anti Corruption Commission, and using it as an election sweetener like a waving lolly bag around at a primary school. Only to put in, for all we know a pop-up tent. I mean I don't know if it's the real thing because it's all hush-hush secret squirrel stuff.
Australian Universities Selling Their Integrity
Now I'll admit I don't know the finer details around Australian Universities. Yet if I put big money down on a second-hand car, and don't ask about any of it's details like does it actually run - you would call me a fool.
So naturally I would expect if a government was to hand out my tax money they could prove to me that it was a worthy investment or cause. Not just some under the table shady deal. And that's where integrity and the NACC comes to stop shine a light under the table.
Thank you for your time in reading update. I'm not anti-(left/right/Lib, Nat or Lab. I'm pro-democracy and anti-corruption. We need debate. And healthy debate must be influence free.
Please share this update and my petition. We need grass roots awareness to simply change 1 word.
