We did it! Changing Places are to be made mandatory in new public buildings in England as a result of a change to building regulations! While I have yet to see the fine detail, new public buildings such as shopping centres will have to have a Changing Place facility.

This is a major advance, and will mean that there will be an increase in facilities year on year. It means that for disabled people, like my daughter, that our world will begin to open up again.

Alongside this announcement, 37 more motorway service stations in England will get Changing Places facilities as they have successfully applied for funding.
