The high on Wednesday is -7° and the low is -16° with a lot of wind in the forecast.  Most students get to class by walking, and even just a 10 minute walk in that weather puts students at a risk of frostbite if they aren’t dressed appropriately.  Many professors are already talking of cancelling class Wednesday, and I’ve heard from multiple students who have already decided they’re better off not attending class for one day.  To not cancel class would be flat out dangerous, so please give it careful consideration.  If class is still going to go on, I'd ask that you at least consider adding more bus routes for the popular busses, as they will be extremely overcrowded. 

Edit:  Illinois State University has announced they are closing from 11 p.m. Tuesday until 9:30 a.m. Thursday.  Just one of many other Illinois schools that are closing due to the weather...
