Help Jesters get a Championship Day

Help Jesters get a Championship Day
The Issue
The High School Jesters Improv League has been a fundamental piece of the Las Vegas Valley performing arts scene for over a decade, making it´s first season debut in 2009. Since then, the Improv League has offered countless hours of wholesome entertainment to the communities of Vegas. Thousands of children across the valley are passionate and inspired by the opportunities the league provides. The League facilitates creativity, encourages diversity, and provides a safe and welcoming environment for every student who wishes to join. There are countless testimonies from students, past and present, chronicling how the Improv League has profoundly shaped who they are and how it made a poignant mark in their lives.
Without a doubt, this past year was marked by an insurmountable amount of grief and loss for everyone. As a community we have persevered through many obstacles we were never expecting to go through. Despite such a tremendous task, the League not only survived the ongoing Pandemic, but thrived in it -- becoming a beacon of expression, of connection, and of hope for students in a time where they needed it the most.
It’s this hope that drove us, students, staff, and teachers, to generate an entire season of shows online (which can be found on JestSerendipity´s youtube channel). Although, like others sports and activities in the valley, we also shared in the sentiment that we could compete on stage once more. That’s why, when the district announced the return of extracurriculars and sporting events, we were excited at the chance to have our Championship day in person (abiding by all covid regulations and promoting the utmost safety standards). With your signature, you can help empower the voices of students in our community, who are asking for a chance to keep that reality alive.
The students of Jesters Improv League need you! Players, are you ready!
