Meeting Paris Climate Commitments in Champaign-Urbana

Hello! Thank you for signing our petition to hold Champaign and Urbana accountable in meeting the commitments of the Paris Climate Accord. We’re really excited to have gotten over 250 signatures, as well as the endorsement of several local organizations. Our future matters, and we will keep fighting until our elected leaders act like it does. We created this petition to take with us when we go to City Council to ask them to pass a resolution to draft a Climate Action Plan - one that meets what scientists say is necessary to prevent the worst effects of climate change.
