Dear Fellow Americans,

Our Founding Fathers established in the Declaration of Independence there is NO KING in America. President Abraham Lincoln declared, 'Government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the Earth.'

No one should be above the law – most importantly, not presidents. However, the Supreme Court's recent decision to grant absolute immunity to presidents and even former presidents utterly violates these founding principles.

Furthermore, the six individuals who handed down this ruling have always claimed to be originalist. However, this decision has neither original intent nor textual support in the Constitution. This decision again demonstrated these individuals are nothing but hypocrites who have again abused their power for ideological purpose.

While public officials who follows the laws and regulations in performing their official duties should not be subject to lawsuits, anyone whose actions, official or not, violate the laws and regulations, must be immediately stopped and promptly held accountable through legal proceedings at the court of laws.  

Consider Fact #1: All officials, especially presidents, take an oath to uphold the Constitution. When crimes are committed through official acts, it ranks as the most egregious form of corruption and the worst betrayal of public trust. 

Consider Fact #2: Our democratic constitutional republic has progressed through numerous challenges in almost 250 years during which no president had raised such absurd immunity claim until Individual One. 

Consider Fact #3: No president ever committed so many frauds and felonies until Individual One. 

Consider Fact #4: No other developed democracy has such immunity for any official. 

Absolute power leads to absolute corruption. Absolute immunity leads to absolute abuse. 

If the most powerful office has absolute immunity, it will turn the presidency into a hotbed and dreamland for dictator wannabes, mob bosses, worst criminals and corrupt politicians. 

Join us to demand the Supreme Court to reverse its immunity decision and uphold the Constitution, and tell those six individuals:

There is No King in America. No One Is Above the Law. Justice of Laws must be applied to everyone, especially to those in power, without delay.

Otherwise, HISTORY will (1) remember this immunity ruling alongside Dred Scott v. Sandford and Plessy v. Ferguson as one of the worst and most disgraceful decisions by the Supreme Court, and (2) condemn these six individuals in forever infamy alongside Taney & his pro-slavery accomplices.

P.S. 

While realistically speaking there is little chance for the current Supreme Court to reverse its decision, this petition aims to be a protest against the six individual un-justices. We intend to deliver this petition to the Court once we have 1,000 signatures, and then 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, … and so on, and cc the White House.  

More importantly, this petition will serve as a historical record that we, the ordinary people, speak out against these six un-justices. We must put these six un-justices into the Hall of Shame.
