KEEPING UP THE PRESSURE

Good Morning, Please keep promoting this petition. We still don't have Safe Standing at St. Mary's. I have been continuing to pressure the owners of Saints. It is fair to say that they are not keen to "break ranks" with the other Premier League clubs on Safe Standing. They are "holding the line". But other clubs like Crystal Palace are starting to show signs of giving in. I am continuing to make contact with more Saints supporters and supporters groups, and via the Football Supporters Federation. And there is still huge support. I am also lobbying other Southampton City Councillors - independents like me and those of the parties. They seem to support Safe Standing, but I await more than words. I hope they will support Safe Standing with actions. I will be putting a motion to the Full Council meeting of Southampton City Council, promoting Safe Standing. I have agreed a demonstration of rail seats. A venue and date is TBA. We will win this campaign. Progress is being made (see article attached). And please add your comments.
