Our Campaign is Making Good Progress!

Just two quick updates to let you know: Campaign Update 1. I now have agreement in principle for a demonstration of rail seats at St. Mary's Stadium. My contacts and I will be working on firming up dates and invitations. It was back in 2012 that I was showed rail seats and I've been a supporter of safe standing since then. You need to see them to fully understand how they work, I feel. The national campaign has gained more momentum with the announcement of the safe standing at Shrewsbury scheduled in March 2018 (see my update earlier this week). Once that is running, I feel the momentum for safe standing will be unstoppable. Campaign Update 2. In the meantime, I am working with the Football Supporters Federation on expanding the campaign further and adding more pressure onto Southampton FC and the Premier League. They are very pleased that so many have signed this petition. So thanks to everyone who has signed. If you want to help with the campaign, please get in touch. I've already got a lot of Saints fans who are supportive, but we need more - especially when we do the demonstration of rail seats. And keep posting why you think safe standing is important.
