4 years since start of this petition and in spite of 357 signatories to this petition , NCERT has not incorporated Veer Bal Diwas or Sahibzadey Shahadat ( Martyrdom) topic in school books or school syllabus for any class ; even Punjab School Board has not so far incorporated it as per ChatGPT AI search. 

Even SGPC an important sikh Institution , which is always lobbying for name change to Sahibzadey Shahadat Diwas has not ever lobbied for incorporation of history of this important martyrdom in school books/syllabi, with NCERT or any state school boards .

For name change also no movement seems to be there with any central agency.Signatories may suggest further course of action for this petition in their reply to this update
