Pit Bulls have a reputation for violence. Originally they were bred to be the ideal dog for dog fights. This has led people to believe that this breed is inherantly dangerous. In an attempt to reduce the amount of dog biting incidents in Ontario, Pit Bulls have been forbidden from producing offspring, and people are not allowed to have this breed brought into the province. This is heartbreaking for Pit Bull owners and lovers of the breed. Anyone who has had one of these dogs knows that they have the capacity to be gentle and loving as much as any other breed. Please sign this petition to end the Pit Bull ban in Ontario.
