CAG SPARSH Audit in Process. Seventeen Second Appeals Registered.

Last Update — 30 Oct 26
👁️ The Comptroller and Auditor General of India has already ordered the SPARSH audit (Cycle 2026-27). The audit is in process.
📌 In several RTIs the Department of Military Affairs, Service Headquarters, Department of Defence, CGDA and PMO neither furnished a point-wise reply within 30 days nor a speaking order within 45 days. Second Appeals have been registered before the Central Information Commission:
🔹CGDA — 6 Second Appeals
🔹Department of Military Affairs / Service Headquarters — 7 Second Appeals
🔹Department of Defence — 3 Second Appeals
🔹PMO — 1 Second Appeal
Section 6(3) transfers an application. It does not transfer a First Appeal. Forwarding is not a decision.
📍THE REQUEST REMAINS UNCHANGED.
CGDA and PCDA (Pensions), as Pension Sanctioning Authority, are requested to correct blank and wrong fields from the records they already hold.
An aged veteran should not be made the first examiner of a file the office already possesses.
The petition has been open since 18 Sep 26. As of today, about 2,420 persons have signed.
🙏 One more signature from a veteran, a spouse, a son or a daughter helps the record.
This is the last update on this petition.
