Much has changed in the past 6 months. Vaccines have rolled out, Covid cases are continually going down. Across the US states have opened and life is heading towards normalcy except when it comes to cruising. .Here the CDC has stonewalled the cruise community since issuing their CSO. As taxpayers that support the CDC there needs to be accountability from them. This past week, Dr. Walensky, the new director of the CDC stated at the US Senate hearings " It is up to the Department of Transportation and other federal agencies to make that decision,:  Does she not even understand that it is the CDC that solely shut down the cruise industry costing our country 55 billions that is pumped into the economy and over 450,000 directly related American jobs? It is time for out government to step in and say enough is enough & it is time for the restart of cruising before the cruise lines permanently  homeport out of the US.
