As a US taxpayer, I find it deeply disturbing and morally unacceptable to witness the destruction caused by bombings in Palestine. The sight of children being harmed, families losing their loved ones, and densely populated towns being leveled is heart-wrenching. It is even more distressing to know that our tax money contributes to these actions.

Let’s stop the systematic targeting of hospitals, schools, churches and mosques. Let’s put back checks and balances that are fully missing and bring back accountability to one of the most shameful chapters in humanity.


According to a report by Defense for Children International - Palestine (DCIP), 222 Palestinian children were killed during the 2014 Gaza conflict alone. As for 2023, there are 1000 children killed daily in Gaza and the West Bank. This is not an isolated incident; such tragedies are recurring with alarming frequency.

Our tax dollars should be used for constructive purposes like education, healthcare, and infrastructure development rather than contributing to violence and loss of innocent lives overseas. We must demand transparency about how our taxes are spent and insist on ethical use of these funds.

We call upon our government representatives and the White House to stop using our tax money for bombing Palestinian civilians. Let us invest in peace instead of war; let's build bridges instead of walls; let's foster love instead of hate.
