I, like so many students, love my school and appreciate a good education. But all too often, my after-school hours - time I could be using to learn and grow in other important ways - are taken over by an overwhelming amount of homework. This story isn't unique to me. It's the shared experience of many students in Leesburg who feel stifled by excessive homework assignments. One Time, I was Going To A fun event At my church. But I couldn't go, Because I Had An UnGodly Amount Of Homework To Complete. 

Research conducted by Stanford University has shown that more than two hours of homework a night can be counterproductive and could even have detrimental effects on a student's health and well-being. It's time we reconsider the amount of homework given to students in Leesburg.

Abolishing homework in Leesburg would not only improve the wellbeing of students but also promote a healthier learning environment where students can utilize their after-school hours for recreational activities and holistic development.

So, together let's raise our voices to cease homework assignments in Leesburg schools. The learning shouldn't end when the school bell rings, but it needs to be balanced - for the sake of our health, our happiness, and our future interests.
