The Iron Gate Cafe would like to thank all our friends, neighbors and customers who took the time to sign our petition to oppose the new consolidated CDTA bus stops in front of the patio at the Iron Gate Cafe. We have almost 800 people come into the restaurant and sign a petition with as many on this online petition. After meeting with local officials, we understand this proposal can still be modified to find a better solution for everyone. We are in no way opposed to CDTA which provides a necessary service for Albany residents. We believe there is a better solution which will benefit residents, bus riders and businesses on this block. If you would like more information or would like to voice your opinion please come to the public meeting this week, Wednesday, November 18 at 6:00 at the library across the street from the Iron Gate Cafe.
