Well not much to be honest.  The CDHB and City Council are still negotiating the requirements for fire safety in the Waipapa undercroft.  Smoke alarms get full of pollen so heat detectors are now being proposed, we are still moving in the right direction just infinitesimally slowly.

Next week the mortuary parking area is going to be undergoing some changes to allow earthquake panels repairs on the Parkside walls so expect a bit of disruption.  Of course this presents another "opportunity" to moan about the need for some proper clean, dry and secure bike parking to anyone you know, preferably someone who can bend the ear of someone who makes decisions, hmmm.

I met our CEO last week at Burwood and was introduced as "he's he one who keeps going on about bike parking" (or words to that effect) so fame at last. Of course I had a mask on so am still incognito really.  As you would expect I did mention the ongoing need for new bike parking facilities under Waipapa............so back to where I started.

Enjoy the spring cycling weather and don't forget to come to work on time after the hour changes.
