2021 - Year of Bike Parking?

Happy New Year and the first update on bike/scooter parking for 2021

The water tanks in the enclosed parking near the old main entrance should be removed in about 2 weeks freeing up some more space for parking
Ongoing discussions about the proposed parking space under Waipapa.  Crucial to these are the technical differences between a wall and and a fence.  This has implications for the area surrounded by said wall or fence which in turn determines what can be, or can not be, put within this space. Wall = building = no bikes, fence = no building = bikes, so easy.  In summary the current wall around the area needs to metamorphosise into a fence.
This space is going to be fantastic, see poor quality photo.  It's accessed over the bridge from Armagh St, it's fully covered, secure and close to the LGF changing rooms in Waipapa.
Once the space is secured racks will ned to be purchased and fitted
