Hemp and cannabis legislation in Ireland is inadequate and lagging behind industry development. Due to legislative grey area, many CBD cafes and shops have recently been raided, pushing law-abiding businesses and families to the brink. Further to this, people from every County of this Republic look to natural CBD products to relieve many conditions, ranging from minor to serious, physical to mental-health related. 

We Propose:

Stop the raids -- Amend the Misuse of Drugs Schedule -- Bring Ireland in-line with current EU Regulation, WHO recommendations (Jan 2019) and indeed it's very own Department of Health Legislation -- 

Make hemp products containing trace amounts of THC at levels not greater than 0.3% EXEMPT from the Misuse of Drugs frameworks!
