Dear Sir or Madam: Good morning. I recently started a petition that has at this point gained nearly 3200 voters and citizens. We are requesting that we have a say in the relocation efforts of some in Congress in regards to refugees into North Dakota. I am attaching the names of all of the people whom have signed the petition thus far. Recent polls have shown that up to 77% of Americans are opposed to the efforts of some in our elected government to increase the number of refugees settled in the USA. Myself and many others are concerned with the apparent profits that Lutheran Social Services and other similar organizations are making by facilitating this resettlement. My family pays more than our fair share of taxes and i, and many others, do not approve of it being used for things that the majority of the population clearly don't support. Senator _______, on behalf of the people who have signed this petition i am requesting a conversation with you about this matter. October 1 is the deadline for the CR and we are requesting you support an addition of any kind that stops this resettlement effort until we have a chance to voice our concerns!
