We all have a responsibility to keep our communities strong by spreading awareness and stepping out of our own thinking boxes to learn more about how to support others who may not be able to find the right answers or solutions. Casey's Law has been around for over eleven years, but not enough education about how this law can be an invaluable crisis intervention tool for families and communities regarding the health crisis epidemic that our nation is currently facing. Meeting with Senator Helming and having the opportunity to explain what Casey's Law is, and address the importance of having Casey's Law into NYS legislation was a huge step. Offering resources, education tools and other awareness on how important everyone can do their part in making changes towards the stigma surrounding this can truly make a difference and save lives.
