I’m proclaiming a law in honor of my son, Casey Eldred, Jr. who was killed on 3/4/22 while snowmobiling on a New York State trail. Casey was an advanced driver. He was hit head on by a drunk driver who had a BAC of .17 from New Jersey who was going the wrong way on a trail. As my son was coming over the crest, in his lane, this driver hit him head on. 

Our state needs to incorporate more patrol officers, larger signage on trails, rest stop areas on trails and check points. Perhaps breathilizer tests before folks start and upon the ending their trips.  Changes are needed. My son was 44 and leaves his partner and three children. His sister and mom n dad. Signature is all that is needed.
