Sorry for the long time between updates, been busy with academic work. I would to thank you all for sticking by this petition from day one. It has truly warmed my heart seeing all these fans of the original series coming together to ask Cartoon Network to give us one last ride with the original titans on adult swim's TOONAMI block. And it was also cool seeing that there was a thing on twitter related to a 6th season, even though it was fake, that still showed that the people want the original to go on. And with the stars being open saying they're for it to happen (minus Khary), and with there being a Blu-Ray Release of Season 1 that is planned to come out soon, I doubt that Cartoon Network doesn't know anything about this. So that's what happened. But now, a call to arms. This holiday season, Cartoon Network is airing TTG for 8 DAYS!!! From Christmas day all the way through New Years Eve. Now TTG has done marathons like this, but this is just sad. Not only, that, but it's going to be in the way of all the Christmas specials we waited all year to watch. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who is going to do this, but for my part in this, I will NOT be watching anything off CN for these days. I can tolerate TTG existing, but the fact that it is being pushed down our throats is just troubling for the network, so I'm proposing a plan. With the hashtag #GOpocalypse (thanks Roundtable), we get it on the trending page on Twitter during the marathon. With Twitter being a huge social network, tons of people can see it, including Cartoon Network if we attach them to the tweet. If we leave messages that explain we don't want this many TTG episodes, then maybe they can see it and realize they're milking an already dead cow. And maybe they'll tone it down and only do a few airing at a time, instead of airings that make CN feel more like the TTGN (TeenTitansGoNetwork). And if you want to add this petition on your tweet (we got more that 180 characters now!) you can do that too. Just get your voice out there and share your message and tell them we're not gonna take it anymore. I would like to say thank you again for sticking with the cause from day one.
