The Carroll County Public Schools proposed operating budget will discontinue the Outdoor School in the 2026 fiscal year. After 39 years working at the school, meeting and teaching approximately 120,000 students across three generations I will admit I have a bias. I hope that this legacy education program will continue in the future but that will depend on all stakeholders speaking out. If you wish to address this proposal, please contact both the Carroll County Commissioners and the Carroll County Board of Education.
