As promised, our petition was delivered today with over 4,600 signatures to the Carroll County Board of Education! (Skip to 25 minutes for the petition) http://video.carrollk12.org/view/CCPS_BM_02132013 They were very much in support of our cause and expressed their desire to keep Outdoor School open. It was made clear, however, that if the County Commissioners fund the school system at the lowest level possible (this thing called Maintenance of Effort) that the Board will have to make some tough choices, i.e. Outdoor School could go. We can't let this happen!! We need to take our cause to the next level. We are going to modify the petition to also target the Commissioners. In making this change, we will give anyone the chance to have their name removed from the petition. We hope, however, that everyone continues to support our cause. You guys are the best!!
