Thunder Road is one of the last original rides remaining at Carowinds. Built in the 70's, this beloved ride has been ridden my millions of people of all ages. It is a landmark in the park. Ask anybody who has been to the Carowinds in the past 40 years; it is one of the few good rides left. Replacing it with another ride is a horrible idea. Instead, it should be repainted to the original white and have the original cars added. A message to Carowinds : DO NOT "RETIRE" THUNDER ROAD! SAVE IT FOR THE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO ENJOY!
