The recent passing of luminary Tony Hsieh has left Vegas shaken. The downtown area of Las Vegas has undergone a transformation in the past decade that has been a beacon of hope in our community and has made Las Vegas, in many ways, easier to call home. This metamorphosis is mostly due to the efforts of Tony, who's vision for the cultural transformation of Las Vegas spread over 20 square blocks to make downtown Las Vegas a safer, more beautiful, and more desirable place to live.

The impact Tony had on our city by bringing art, music, culture, and the rebuilding of our downtown area should be honored. Initially, this petition had been to honor his legacy with a street name somewhere downtown. After hearing Mayor Carolyn Goodman's words, we have decided to go in step with something that Tony probably would enjoy more than a little stretch of street, but an art installation instead. Please keep sharing and moving this forward for Tony and his family!
