Now she's won a major ruling issued by a Court of Appeals in her favor, finding that CarMax violated California's Consumer Legal Remedies Act and Unfair Competition Law, which also prohibits unfair and deceptive acts and practices. Sweet. The Court's ruling in Tammy's favor is widely considered to be the first Appellate Court decision over the widespread problem of car dealers selling unrepaired recalled used cars.
