We have seen care workers in the media over the last few weeks than ever before however they are sadly still not recognised as skilled workers. Millions of care workers are supporting those in their own homes and within care homes everyday, risking their lives and putting their own families at risk to ensure others are well cared for.

There still appears to be the connection between low paid workers being low skilled and if this pandemic has taught us anything it is that we need to redress this balance.
