SaveOLMC Update- Saturday, September 3, 2016 We have been working on a date to have a meeting for our parishioners at Mt. Carmel to Save Our Church. 1. We approached Father Joe that on Wednesday, September 14th we wanted to meet in our church hall. He said that he was busy that week and it was not good for him. 2. We explained that we would give him a breakdown of what we talked about, he need not attend. 3. Father Joe made it quite clear that from now on he would be at all the meetings. We explained that the meeting is with the parishioners of Mt. Carmel to save our Church. His response "You may no longer have meetings to Save Our Lady of Mt. Carmel at Mt. Carmel Church, you will have to find somewhere else!" It did not take long for the true colors to show. We are currently looking for another location to have our meeting. Long live Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Monday, September 5, 2016 1. Attention all Our Lady of Mount Carmel parishioners we are asking to you come after the 8am Mass this Saturday, September 10, 2016 to pray the rosary in front of the Madonna. 2. We ask all parishioners if they are writing a check for the collection at mass to continue writing their checks to: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. The merger has not officially gone through yet and we will always be Our Lady of Mt. Carmel until the Vatican says otherwise.
