My puppy got injured and I took him to a local ER vet  (capital veterinary specialist) in Jacksonville, FL. I explained he had accidentally gotten shut in our sliding glass door and hurt his rib cage area they were very dismissive and told us he had extensive brain damage and swelling and serious neurological symptoms and there was nothing they could do but thankfully we decided to go directly to another local ER vet where they said he’s perfectly fine and just had some bruised ribs. We opted to keep him there over night as we do not feel comfortable administering pain medication to such a tiny puppy. This experience has left me deeply concerned about the health and safety of animals treated there and after further research and speaking with my community they have done very similar things to dozens of families and some of these families ended up losing their pets. 

I urge the Veterinary Board of Florida to conduct a thorough investigation into this clinic's practices to ensure no other pets are harmed. Please sign this petition to demand accountability and protect our beloved animals from negligence.
